It's Time to Say Goodbye — WeldonPC News Is Moving

After several years, WeldonPC.com is in the final stages of departing our old email platform. Everything we publish now lives right here on our own site, at weldonpc.com/news.

Nothing about the news itself is changing. The same service advisories, security warnings, weekly tech briefings and shop announcements will keep coming — they will simply be sent from weldonpc.com instead of a third-party service.

What you need to do

If you want to keep receiving our news by email: take a few seconds to confirm your address on our new list. There is a "keep me subscribed" button in the email we sent you, or you can subscribe any time from the news page. One email per article, and a one-click unsubscribe link in every single one.

If you would rather not receive it: you do not have to do anything at all. When the old platform closes, the emails simply stop. If you would like to be certain, use the "not subscribing" link in our email and we will record it immediately.

What is not affected

This change applies to news and announcements only. Invoices, receipts, appointment confirmations, service advisories about work we are doing for you, and anything else tied to your account are unaffected and will continue exactly as before.

Why we are doing this

Running our own news delivery means fewer moving parts, no third-party platform between us and our customers, and no one else holding your email address. It also lets us do things we could not do before — like the "Listen to this article" audio player you will find on our recent posts.
