How customers opt in

Existing WeldonPC customers turn text messages on themselves, in their customer portal, under Account › Preferences (https://weldonpc.com/portal/account/preferences). The box is unchecked until the customer ticks it, it sits on its own, and the wording below appears beside it before anything is saved:

What this program is

WeldonPC Service Text Notifications is a recurring text message program operated by WeldonPC, a computer repair and managed IT services company in Garfield Heights, Ohio. If you opt in, we send text messages to the mobile number on your account.

Who sends the messages

Messages come from the WeldonPC messaging number shown when you receive your first text. Save the number so you recognise our texts.

What you will receive

Service and account messages only:

Appointment reminders and confirmations, including on-site visit windows
Support ticket updates — when a ticket is received, assigned, updated or closed
Repair and order status, including when equipment is ready for pickup
Invoice, payment and receipt notices, including due and past-due reminders
Replies to messages and requests you send us

What you will not receive

WeldonPC does not send marketing, promotional or advertising text messages under this program. No sales offers, no coupons, no newsletters. If we ever offer a promotional text program it will be separate, and you would have to opt into it separately.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your account activity — the tickets you open, the appointments you book and the invoices on your account. Most customers receive a few messages per service visit or billing cycle.

Cost

WeldonPC does not charge for this program. Message and data rates may apply; those are charged by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Check your wireless plan for details.

Consent is optional

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying any WeldonPC product or service, of opening or keeping an account, or of getting support. You can use every part of your account without it.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts. You can also switch it off any time on the Preferences page of your customer portal, or ask us to do it for you.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your information

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. We do not sell it and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. See the WeldonPC Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
